A DECLINING POPULATION IN COMMUNITY FORCED THE CLOSURE OF THE THEATER, WHIC BEGAN LIFE ANEW AS THE METROPOLITAN A.M.E CHURCH. LISTED IN NATIONAL REGISTER 6/22/84.
